Free Theme: CleanCut for BlackBerry Storm and Storm 2

It has been a while since there was a new theme release, but here is our newest CleanCut available for BlackBerry Storm and Storm 2 smartphones with support for both OS 4.7 and OS 5.0. There is not much to be said about this theme as you can see it is simple and clean. The theme looks a bit iPhonish but hey it is a good look. This is an ideal theme for everyone who wants something that will go just perfect on his Storm. The free CleanCut theme is available via OTA downloads. Nimbuzz for BlackBerry updated to 1.1.1

Nimbuzz for BlackBerry has been updated to a new version 1.1.1. This release fixes some of the bugs with BlackBerry OS 5.0 and other small fixes for the older versions of the OS. If you are familiar with Nimbuzz, it is an amazing IM client with support for Skype, Facebook, MySpace, MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk, Gadu-Gadu, Hyves, StudiVZ and many more!  You can download it from the link below.

LinkedIn app for BlackBerry

Today, LinkedIn announced their BlackBerry app at the BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco.

This morning, at the BlackBerry Developer Conference in San Francisco, I have the great pleasure of announcing one of our most important mobile efforts for 2009: the launch of LinkedIn for BlackBerry.  Needless to say, this launch has been hotly anticipated by the millions of LinkedIn members who make the BlackBerry their mobile business platform of choice.

The LinkedIn app for BlackBerry will enable you to look up over 50 million professional profiles straight from your BlackBerry in real time. It will also include deep integration with the native Messages, Contacts & Calendar applications on the BlackBerry platform.

Official BlackBerry Twitter App Leaked

If you haven't already heard, the official BlackBerry Twitter has released. However, you had to be invited in order to download. This has all changed thanks to Theiexplorers who have leaked it with an OTA link. This is pretty typical with newly released 'beta' apps that do not utilize a pin authorization. We've been testing it out for awhile now and although it's aesthetically pleasing we're not sure if it's the pinnacle of twitter apps. Are you going to give up UberTwitter, Social Scope, or others? If you didn't get an invite might as well give it a try!

ÜberTwitter Beta 7 Released

Following close on the heels of Beta-6, Beta-7 is mostly a bug-fix/stabilization release. This is in preparation for a substantial feature upgrade for Beta-8 which is planed to be released in March. 2010. Free App: Trapster 3.6 adds virtual radar and custom notifications

For those of you who are not familiar with Trapster for BlackBerry, it is a FREE application / service that allows users to share the location of police speed traps using mobile phones and other types of devices. Sounds interesting? Well the new Trapster for BlackBerry app 3.6 adds virtual radar and custom notifications.

How it works: The blue Virtual Radar blip eminates from your GPS location and follows you in real time. As you approach reported trap locations and one or more of the traps come within that alert area, Trapster® begins playing spoken alerts such as "Live Police" or "Red Light Camera", and animating the associated icons. Of course as with everything Trapster®, you can report new traps and rate the traps that other users have reported.

Free Theme: WinterBerry for Bold 9000, Bold 9700, Curve 8900 and Tour 9630 + OS 5.0 support

Although some time has passed since we have announced this theme and all the trouble we had creating it we are releasing the light version of the WinterBerry theme for download now. The theme has an animated background with falling snowflakes and the icon pack you liked from our previous themes. The WinterBerry Light theme is available for four BlackBerry Smartphones (BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Bold 9700, BlackBerry Curve 8900 and BlackBerry Tour 9630) along with versions for BlackBerry OS 5.0 updated devices. Although this theme is released in beta version we thing we got all the things fixed but you can always leave a comment to help us make this theme better. As usual the theme is available for download via our OTA downloads section with separate version for OS 5.0 devices and non OS 5.0 devices. So givie it a try.
