How to wipe your BlackBerry clean?

So how to wipe your BlackBerry device clean? First take a clean soft cloth and .... just kidding. If for any reason you want to remove all personal information from your BlackBerry, remove all your images, SMS, email, videos and everything else even installed applications there is an easy way to do it right from your handheld. As you might guess it does not include reformatting the phone or reinstalling the operating system. At the end you get a BlackBerry device restored to factory settings with the OS still on the phone.
So here is how it goes:

1. Open the menu and go to Options
2. Go to Security Options and select it
3. Select General Settings
4. Press the Menu button and select Wipe Handheld
5. A warning message will be displayed along with a check box for 3rd party applications if you want to remove all installed applications from your BlackBerry

After clicking Continue all your information on the phone will be removed and if you selected the 3rd party apps they will be removed as well.
