How to clear your event log?

Many of you might not know this but every BlackBerry device creates a log file of everything you do on the phone. As time passes this log file becomes very big and slows down the phone, so from time to time you might need to clear this log. Unfortunately there is not a menu button to do this but here is how it is done.
For any BlackBerry device except the BlackBerry Storm:

1. From your home screen press ALT+LGLG
2. Press the Menu key and select Clear Log
3. Select Delete and you are done

Clear the event log on the BlackBerry Storm:

1. From the home screen click the Menu key
2. Rotate the phone to landscape mode and bring out the keyboard
3. Type in /"/"/ (no spaces) and the Event Log will show
4. Press the Menu key and select Clear Log
5. Click Delete and you are done

You might want to do this from time to time and not only to speed up your phone but to erase all record of your activity on the phone.
