Hippopost for BlackBerry - Snap a photo and send it as a real postcard

Here is an interesting free application for your BlackBerry. It is called Hippopost and what it basically does is giving you the option to take a photo from your BlackBerry smartphone and send it as an real physical postcard to anyone you like, provided that they live in the US or Canada (for the time being). I find this free app useful for one reason. Every time I go somewhere on vacation or just traveling, all my family gets very excited about postcards especially my grandparents. But as you can imagine I never bother to buy a postcard and send it. Yep, I never do, although it would save me a lot of questions when I get back home. Somehow my postcards always get lost in the mail, LOL. Hippopost for BlackBerry comes very handy for this, I don't have to buy a postcard, I don't have to go to the post office to send it and it is somehow free.
Hippopost will do all the trouble for you, all you have to do is take an image, select the recipient, select a sponsor for your postcard (this is how the service works, after all someone has to pay for your postcard) and send it. There is a limitation of two free postcards per day but if you need more you can always buy credits.
