BlackBerry Simulator Application Error problem fix
When using the BlackBerry device simulator you sometimes might encounter this Application Error "Error inside JVM: Access violation reading from 0x00000000" when trying to start the simulator. Here is how to fix your problem.
BlackBerry simulator ERROR:
Open the installation folder of your BlackBerry Simulator for example: "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Smartphone Simulators 4.6.1\4.6.1.199 (8900)" if there is a file named clean.bat run it. Try to open the simulator and if you are getting the "Error inside JVM: Access violation reading from 0x00000000" error again close the simulator, open the install folder again and delete all the .dmp files from the install folder and start the simulator again.Application Error

Access violation reading from 0x00000000
If this does not help try the following:
- Uninstall the JDE SDK and the BlackBerry Simulator
- Reboot your PC - do not bypass this step
- Install JDE SDK and the BlackBerry Simulator
- Start the Simulator

my bb bold 9700 which is less a month old is showing an error message htp 532 reset in very small print against a white screen, whilst i tried switching it on 2 days ago.
i have removed the battery and replaced t but it tries to boot then goes back to the same message .
can you pls suggest ways to fix this error message.
i searched on the internet and i gather that this is a report common only to simulator devices. I haven't even used the phone for anything other than calling texting and browsing occassionally.
