It all depends on what you need it for. I've had serveal blackberry's. The most notable and latest of them are the 8830 (Verizon) and the 8800 or Curve on ATT.Both phones are great but they each have different edges. The Curve is GREAT for multimedia. You can take pictures, listen to music, the keys (IMHO) are easier to use than on the 8830, and you can use a regular headset to listen to music (ie. iPod ear buds). The World Phone (8830) is great too. You get used to the keys, there is no camera phone (why?!?!?), you still have your music, the sim card is easy to load (as opposed to the curve), the sound quality is better and its on a better network (you can also take it across seas). So, in conclusion if you just want a Multimedia phone that's cool, slim, and looks good, go with the Curve, but those serious business minded individuals will probably turn to the more sophisticated stylings of the 8830 and its no nonsense approach to taking care of business while on the road. Which model you would purchase deepnds on the provider you wish to go with. I like the 8300 model (AT T) which is known at the Curve is the newest one out there. It has a full keyboard and is still sleek and easy to navigate. This model has a built in camera as well. The 8800 (AT T and T-Mobile) or the 8830 (Verizon and Sprint) is also a good BlackBerry. This has a full keyboard for easy typing and a built in MP3 Player. But this model does not have a camera. The 8100 (AT T and T-Mobile) is also known as the Pearl. This one has the condensed' keyboard, which means there are 2 letters per key. It does have a camera. But this is my least favorite of all the models out there. Personally the condensed keyboard style makes it useless to me when typing emails.Personally I would choose a 8800/8830 or a 8300. It just deepnds if you want a camera or an MP3 player.
