Finger Trap is the highly addicting free game for touchscreen BlackBerry devices that will put your reflexes and speed to the test. The objective of the game is to keep your red square safe for as long as possible. Put your finger on it to start the game and don't let go! Drag your finger around the screen to avoid hitting the flying blue boxes for as long as possible.

In Regular Mode, the boxes will bounce and move predictably. However, in Wild Mode, the boxes will randomly change direction every few seconds to give you an extra challenge! If Random Start Direction is enabled, the boxes will start moving in a random direction each game. Otherwise, they will always start moving in towards you, so get ready to move fast! There are some strange icons that have been extracted from BlackBerry OS 6 UI on a unknown OS 6 device that were leaked on file sharing sites. Among the files, mostly PNG images and icons from the user interface, there is one net_rim_theme_precision_2_360x400_b.cod.275.PNG that grabs the attention. Could this be it, a fingerprint reader on a BlackBerry OS 6 device. Well it seems like it, with the fingerprint icons which remind me of my ThinkPad somehow included in the UI it would be no surprise to see a BlackBerry smartphone with a built in fingerprint reader / scanner, this would be a big improvement in the security and an amazing marketing base.

So, in less then 7 days we will be seeing the new BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6, and if we judge from the feedback from the people who downloaded the leaked version, it will be great.

RIM just opened the private beta for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6 and here are the leaked download links for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6 available via file sharing sites.
Ok guys for those of you that didn't get a private beta link form RIM this is for you. As you can tell Desktop Manager got a complete makeover in DM6. The whole interface is real easy to use. Everything just seems way more organized in the sidebar rather than the six icons in previous versions.

I have been looking for a long time to find a BlackBerry GPS golf application that was free or freeware and I was not able to find any good ones. I found some really good applications but they only last a few rounds.
So I thought I would install JDE and play with the sample GPS software and it did not take me to long (about 3 working days) before I had a working application. I am always trying to improve the application and my back end of the server. I have made some huge changes that makes mapping out a golf course very easy and fun. After you have finished mapping out a golf course you can then download it on the BlackBerry and start playing. No need to wait for it to get approved. It is live all the time. I use Google Maps to get the GPS cords for the Tee, Front, Middle, and Back of the green. I then save that information into an XML file and I update the main course list xml file. You can also have up to 5 custom "Other" points for mapping things like water, bunkers, trees, etc.

We have confirmed that there will be a 9330 CDMA version of the 9300. We're assuming we'll see this replacement hit Verizon, Sprint, and other CDMA carriers that currently offer the 8500 series devices.
